A new excursion that combines the famous archeological area of Herculaneum Unesco World Heritage and the exclusive town of the Amalficoast, Positano.

The excursion starts by a walking tour around Herculaneum bringing the ancient city alive. We walk across an elevated walkway enjoying  an amazing view of the excavations below and  the entire Bay of Naples. The ancient town is at about 20m. below the present day city. Below us is part of the ancient beach and the boat houses where they found hundreds of skeletons of the inhabitants that rushed down to the shore attempting to escape by sea.  Entering the excavations you will step back into history: the elegant houses, the shops, the  thermal baths are all well preserved, with the original frescoes on the walls, fine tiles and mosaic floors. You will not miss the house of Neptune and Amphitrite, where the famous mosaic is kept that gave the name to the house and a beautiful shop close to it, where you can see how a ‘taberna’ was organized, with its counter, its wine amphoras  and carbonized wooden furniture. We continue our pleasant stroll through the excavations and reach the Forum area where many  activities took place with fountains, graffiti on the walls and the Sacellum degli Augustali dedicated to the Emperor. In front of you is a huge wall of mud on which the modern town was built. From the forum we move to the palextra... coming out of the gym we will see  the most luxurious house in Herculaneum, the house of the Deers, with a magnificent terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples and remarkable frescoes.

After the visit we will drive along the Amalfi Coast and reach the picturesque village of Positano. Its vertical urban structure enchants the visitors. Your guide lwill walk with you to the pedestrian area, where you will have time at leisure for shopping and lunch.

The booking will be confirmed by our Company by a prepayment of the 30% of the service 10 days before the tour using Pay Pal for safe and fast payment.
If you cancel the tour 7 days or more before the service you will be completely refund of your prepayment 
If you cancel the tour less than 7 days before the services 100% of the prepayment will be charged by the company 
For No Show 100% of the prepayment will be charged by the company 
The 70% left of the payment has to be paid on the day of your service, please note we do NOT accept credit card payments but we require cash payment in Euros only. 
Note: For transaction fees there will be a extra charge on the total rate. 
Any cancellation must be made by sending an e-mail.
